It’s a tradition that goes back many years that the holiday “park slopes party” is held on Halloween. I’ve always thought this tradition made the best sense for a couple of reasons. First, it’s fun to dress in costume and participate to the best of your ability. Second, the party is a time to celebrate with friends having fun and having a good time.
At the peak of the party season, the party slopes have become almost like a big party, with lots of alcohol and fun activities. In the past, this has made it a very safe party for children. However, this year’s slopes have been very dangerous and the partygoers have become a bit more responsible as of late. It seems as though a few people have gotten hurt or even lost their lives.
In past years there have been a few fatalities, but no more so than in previous years. There hasn’t been one death this year. If you have kids or teenagers you should definitely make sure this doesn’t happen again. It’s important to use a lot of “fun” activities, but also have safe areas. It may sound like a small thing, but it makes a huge difference.
This year we’ll be having a slope halloween parade. We plan on having a bunch of roller blades and a firecracker parade which will be a perfect combination. We also plan on having an ice cream truck and lots of cool costumes.
For the past few years weve gotten a lot of requests for this and we’ve been working really hard to make it happen. We just finished our fall ride down the park in October and the slope halloween parade will be at the end of the year. For the first time we will be having the parade early in the day so we can show off the best outfits. We will have a ton of fun and can’t wait to see you all there.
This year we plan on having the parade on a Saturday so that we can have as many people as possible in costume for the parade. We also plan on having some special guests to help us with the parade, so if you would like to help us make it better, please let us know. I’m not sure what it is that makes me so anxious. If I’m worried about something, it’s probably the lack of sleep. I used to think my life was so magical that I was almost immune to the common worries that everyone brings to the table. I’m starting to think I’m just lucky that this isn’t my life.
Like most people, I was a bit concerned about park slopeweather being a thing. I mean, the thought of people walking through my neighborhood dressed in their sweats and hats seems like a bad horror movie. So I thought about whether it was a good idea to go out there this year and see how it would be. When Im not wearing my sweats and hats, I have the occasional visit to the mall.
Well, it turns out that slopewear is still not officially allowed in the city of Chicago. And while it’s nice to be able to live in a city that respects your right to not have the government enforce such a thing, it’s also a bit silly. I’m sure the people who create these costumes are just doing it for fun.
