Besides these five sections, one more section is introduced by the Institute of Banking Personnel Selection recruitment body, a descriptive paper in the Mains exam for the post of Probationary Officer.
The candidate who is able to score the qualifying marks in the Mains examination will appear for the selection to the post of Probationary Officer. Remember, this section has the maximum weightage in the final selection.

3. Interview Stage
Candidates who clear the Prelims and Mains exam are called for the Interview round. This is the final round to get selected for the IBPS PO posts. All the applicants get their admit cards who crack both the examinations in which the venue, date, centre, and time of the interview are mentioned. The aspirants need to download this admit card from the official website.
The final round, the interview, will account for 100 marks. To clear the IBPS PO post-selection interview, the candidate must score at least 40% (for general applicants) and 35% (for SC/PwD/ST applicants).
The final score is not solely based on the interview round. It will be calculated based on the marks obtained by the applicants in the Mains exam and the Personal Interview.
